The New Year is not yet fully three days old, and migrants are already wreaking havoc across Europe.

There were reports on New Year’s Eve of dozens of sexual assaults across Austria and Germany. In Salzburg, Austria, an 18-year-old Afghan migrant sexually assaulted a 31-year-old Austrian woman — while in Graz, Austria, two unidentified Muslim migrants molested a 26-year-old woman who was on her way home from a New Year’s Eve party, Austrian newspaper Der Standard reported.

Eleven sex attacks were reported in the Austrian state of Tyrol alone.

In Cologne, Germany — the epicenter of last New Year’s Eve mass sexual assaults — there were roughly 100 arrests of North African men, and police in the city recorded dozens of reports of sexual assaults, the Daily Telegraph reported on Sunday.

In Dortmund, Germany, a group of roughly 1,000 Muslim migrants launched fireworks at the historic Reinoldikirche church, which reportedly caught fire, and also launched fireworks at police in the city, reported the Austrian paper Wochen Blick. Also on New Year’s Eve, Muslim migrants stabbed a local man to death in Elk, Poland.

Unfortunately the migrant mayhem didn’t stop on New Year’s Day. On Monday, there were reports that an Afghan migrant stabbed a Christian woman at a refugee center — for reading the Bible.

The 50-year-old woman had been invited to the center to talk about Christianity, but was attacked when the migrant, 22, overheard her reading from the Christian holy book. The woman’s thick coat miraculously prevented any injury.

On Monday, asylum seekers at a migrant reception center in Cona, Italy, barricaded themselves in the building and took 25 employees hostage after the death of a migrant who lived at the center. The situation was resolved by Tuesday morning; all hostages were released unharmed.

Last year was marked by migrant crimes, from sexual assaults to rapes and even terrorist attacks. The scope of these crimes and the fact that barely a single European nation has been left unharmed by Muslim migrants were large factors in the rise of right-wing populist parties across Europe that marked 2016.

If the past few days are any sort of accurate indication — 2017 may turn out to be an even worse year for migrant violence.
