A discredited piece from The New York Times has brought to light the over-the-top scrutiny GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump is facing over his history with women, all while the Clintons’ far darker history with women goes uncovered, LifeZette Editor-in-Chief Laura Ingraham said Tuesday on Fox News’ “The Sean Hannity Show.”

“This is always that way with liberals … They care about women in general, but individual women, not so much.”

“We have actual networks who are saying, ‘Oh well, we don’t want to get into that,'” said Ingraham.

Ingraham referred viewers back to the original Lisa Myers report on NBC’s “Dateline” in 1999, in which Juanita Broaddrick revealed her story of being sexually assaulted by President Bill Clinton. Ingraham, who noted that she also interviewed Broaddrick at the time, said she believes Broaddrick’s story is “absolutely credible.”

“I would love to put her on a stand and give her a lie detector test,” said Ingraham. “The woman was obviously horribly, horribly sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton. Other people won’t say that — I will, because I think it happened.”

Ingraham suggested the NYT hit piece on Trump is laughable in comparison.

“Love the Trump story. It’s like a news flash that a single man likes women,” said Ingraham, joking that the media might cover Broaddrick’s story if Bill Clinton had asked her to get into a bikini rather than assaulted the woman — a reference to an event mentioned in the NYT piece.

Hannity took the opportunity to lay out some uncomfortable statistics for the liberal outlet, citing a report that 63 percent of The New York Times’ stories are written by men — and women earn 7 percent less than their male counterparts. He also noted that the Clinton Foundation pays women 38 percent less than men.

“This is always that way with liberals, right, Sean? They care about women in general, but individual women, not so much,” said Ingraham.
