Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s role as an “enabler” of her husband’s affairs and alleged sexual assaults is “most certainly fair game” for presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, LifeZette Editor-in-Chief Laura Ingraham said Monday on Fox News Channel’s “On the Record.”

Ingraham noted that “the left is attacking Trump on is his character,” saying “he’s unstable, crazy” — and Trump is firing right back.

“If Hillary Clinton has a special bond with female voters, which she argues, repeatedly, she’s the woman’s candidate, then I think it is without a doubt fair game that Donald Trump says okay, if that’s the case, why did you take part … in your role in tamping down the ‘bimbo eruptions,'” Ingraham said to host Greta Van Susteren.

Ingraham said “war room politics” is part of the Clinton playbook and Trump is smart to fire back without hesitation.

“[The] Clintons started the war room politics that we know of in the modern era … they savage their opposition,” said Ingraham, noting that there’s an entire documentary dedicated to the political foul play of the Clintons.

“So is Donald Trump going to have a team of people together that not only answer the attacks, but launch the attacks? I would imagine if he doesn’t do that, it will be hard for him,” said Ingraham.
