Former 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is planning to launch a new political action committee (PAC) to act “as a quiet catalyst” in support of personal priorities and Democratic candidates, according to a Wednesday report from Axios.

“According to a source familiar with the planning, the initial focus will be on lifting up organizations that are the product of the energy and activism she has seen since the election, and existing groups that have been reignited and reinvigorated by that energy,” the Axios report read. “She has met with some of these groups, and it’s something she’s become increasingly passionate about with each meeting, the source said.”

“So you know, I’m now back to being an activist citizen and part of the resistance.”

Clinton is not planning to run for any political office, according to the Axios report, but the former secretary of state does intend to boost Democratic candidates in the 2018 midterm elections.

Clinton also plans to continue touring as a paid speaker while working on her book coming out this fall, according to Axios.

After remaining below the radar in the months following her November loss to President Donald Trump, Clinton re-emerged this week and aligned herself with the so-called “resistance.”

Clinton blamed FBI Director James Comey, the Russians, WikiLeaks, and misogyny for her 2016 failure during an interview Tuesday at the Women for Women International Luncheon in New York, moderated by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.

“So you know, I’m now back to being an activist citizen and part of the resistance,” Clinton said during the Amanpour interview.
