Syndicated radio talk show host Dennis Prager condemned YouTube for deliberately censoring conservative viewpoints under the guise of “offensive” content during a Tuesday interview on “The Laura Ingraham Show.”

Prager, host of “The Dennis Prager Show” and founder of Prager University, has experienced the content censorship firsthand. According to Prager University’s website, YouTube currently lists 21 PragerU channel videos — which constitute roughly 10 percent of its videos — under its “restricted mode.” This mode, which many families use to keep violent, sexual, and otherwise unsuitable internet content out of their children’s reach — lists those 21 videos as objectionable content.

“Well, first, it’s very important that your listeners know that they undoubtedly target us because we’re so big,” Prager told LifeZette Editor-in-Chief Laura Ingraham. “We have 120 million views this year. One hundred and twenty million, and the largest single group is under 35. So it’s making a difference, and I’m sure it’s registered with them that it has.”

According to its website, the PragerU videos “take the best ideas from the best minds and distill them down to five focused minutes. We then add graphics and animation to create the most persuasive, entertaining, and educational case possible for the values that have made America and the West the source of so much liberty and wealth. These values are Judeo-Christian at their core and include the concepts of freedom of speech, a free press, free markets, and a strong military to protect and project those values.”

Apparently, YouTube just can’t handle some of these values.

Although the PragerU videos in question are only blocked from those users who use the “restricted mode,” Prager argues that his videos should never have qualified for YouTube’s restrictions in the first place. The names of several videos that have been censored include, “Are the Police Racist?” “Israel’s Legal Founding,” “Why Don’t Feminists Fight for Muslim Women?” “Is America Racist?” and “Why did America Fight the Korean War?”

“Can you tell me what is sexual or violent about that?” Prager asked Ingraham. “And we don’t even have war films because there’s no film. It’s just animated.”

And as for “Are the Police Racist?” Prager again asked Ingraham, “Where’s the violent or sexual content there?”

“It’s obviously anything that defends America or is critical of the Islamic world … or defends Israel … so it’s obvious that this is not random,” Prager said. “They’ve cut this stuff out because they don’t agree with what we’ve done.”

The PragerU website currently sports a petition that already has been signed by 63,400 people calling on YouTube to stop blocking the videos.

“In every leftist is a totalitarian DNA. I’ve said this my whole life. Their desire — that’s why there’s an inherent advantage to the Left — they wish to control. We wish to be left alone,” Prager said. “That is one of the single biggest differences between Left and Right. We just want to be left alone. They want to control people. And if anything is effective — and we have been with 120 million just this year — they want to shut you down.”
