The subject of a “rigged” election surfaced during Wednesday night’s presidential debate, as Hillary Clinton asserted Donald Trump’s claims were merely the result of his lashing out because “things are not going in his direction.”

“Every time Donald thinks things are not going in his direction he claims whatever it is, is rigged against him,” Clinton said.

“The insiders will do anything to stop him. They have mobilized the corporate mass media to throw the election to their tribune, Hillary Clinton.”

Trump has faced increasingly heavy criticism from Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media lately for insisting that the current election is rigged. They, like Clinton, would have the country believe that Trump is merely pushing the “rigged” line to excuse what they think will be his inevitable, crushing loss — and place blame for that loss on the Democrats, rather than on his own personal shortcomings as a candidate.

But just because Trump might not be the ideal candidate does not mean that the election is not rigged. It very much is rigged. To rig something means “to manipulate fraudulently,” according to Dictionary.com, and the Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media have clearly conspired to fraudulently manipulate the election at every opportunity.

“The media is so dishonest, it’s so corrupt, and the pile-on is so amazing … and they poison the minds of the voters,” Trump said.

The liberal media does everything it can to manipulate the public’s perception of the candidates. In Trump’s case, they turned him into a racist, sexist caricature. His calls for border security, for instance, were transformed into bigoted screeds against Latinos.

“Donald Trump is running to break up the rigged system that serves a globalist elite, not the American people. The insiders will do anything to stop him. They have mobilized the corporate mass media to throw the election to their tribune, Hillary Clinton,” Curtis Ellis, Trump economic adviser and executive director of the American Jobs Alliance, told LifeZette.

Indeed, The Huffington Post still carries its wildly libelous editor’s note that asserts that “Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist, and birther.”

Here again we see the insidious way in which the liberal media operates. The only ones inciting political violence at present are Democrats — whether at Trump rallies or Black Lives Matter protests. A recent video sting by Project Veritas apparently revealed that Democratic National Committee operative Robert Creamer was directly involved in paying agitators to cause violence at Trump rallies.

Not only was Creamer financing anti-Republican violence, but shockingly the White House may also have known about his activities — Creamer has visited the White House over 340 times since 2009, and met with President Obama personally on 47 occasions, most recently in June 2016.

But of course, the mainstream media is barely touching on the recent Project Veritas videos, because to do so would be damaging to Clinton. It is also going to great lengths to ignore or downplay the damning revelations exposed by WikiLeaks over the past fortnight.

“In just one week the media gave 23 times more coverage to the unfounded accusations against Donald Trump than to Hillary’s emails showing her support for open borders, bad trade deals for American workers and collusion between the media and her campaign,” Ellis noted.

An analysis by the Media Research Council found that between Oct. 7 and Oct. 12, ABC, CBS, and NBC spent more than 200 minutes covering the leaked tape of Trump’s lewd comments. The same organizations only spent 24 minutes on the WikiLeaks revelations in that time, and “very little of this coverage was on specific emails or issues that were brought up by the emails,” noted MRC analyst Mike Ciandella.

To make matters worse, Democrats — and Establishment Republicans like Marco Rubio, for that matter — are treating the emails as if they are fake. “As our intelligence agencies have said, these leaks are an effort by a foreign government to interfere with our electoral process and I will not indulge it,” Rubio said in a statement released Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, CNN cut Congressman Chris Collins’ satellite feed as soon as he began talking about WikiLeaks.

It’s interesting to note that globalists like President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, who both insist Trump’s claims of a rigged U.S. election are ludicrous, are the same people who insist the Russians are trying to rig the U.S. election.

But when Trump talks about “rigging,” he’s not just talking about media manipulation of the narrative — he’s talking literal election rigging too. Thanks to WikiLeaks, the public is also aware that the DNC, mainstream media, and Clinton campaign conspired to scuttle Bernie Sanders’ chances of winning the Democratic primary.

And as Trump pointed out, there is actual voter fraud. “The election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Crooked Hillary ― but also at many polling places — SAD,” Trump tweeted on Sunday. He’s not wrong.

That voter fraud is a widespread problem has been clearly apparent since Project Veritas released the now-infamous ACORN sting videos in 2009. On Tuesday, elections expert and former Justice Department attorney J. Christian Adams told “Fox & Friends” that 4 million dead or ineligible voters appeared on U.S. voter roles.

Trump has also questioned the Federal Reserve’s decision not to raise interest rates before the election. “[Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is] keeping them artificially low to get Obama retired,” Trump said in September. “Watch what is going to happen afterwards. It is a very serious problem. And I think it is very political. I think she is very political and to a certain extent, I think she should be ashamed of herself. But it is not supposed to be that way.”

In defense of the Federal Reserve, it is generally customary not to raise interest rates soon before an election — the Fed has only done so once since 1980. What makes this year different, however, is that economists, including some tied directly to the Fed, have been calling for the raising of interest rates since at least the spring. It seems likely that the last thing Yellen, an Obama appointee, wants is to trigger an economic slide in Obama’s final months of office.

Finally, as Trump pointed out, the very fact that Clinton herself is even eligible to run, given her clear ethical misconduct while secretary of state, is indicative of a fundamentally flawed, unjust system. “She should not be allowed to run and just in that respect I say it’s rigged,” said Trump.”She should never have been allowed to run for the presidency based on what she did,” he said.
