MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski hit peak propagandist Monday morning with a teary-eyed monologue in which she let “Morning Joe” viewers know that the Trump administration’s behavior is “really bad” and that she is “really nervous.”

“This is really bad. Just for the record, we are all really nervous. So if people out there feel nervous, we do, too. We don’t think this is funny,” Brzenzinski said.

The “Morning Joe” co-host then suggested President Donald Trump’s concern that his predecessor’s administration may have been spying on him makes an unprecedented threat to the country.

“We are at a low point in American history and I don’t know how anybody can defend this president, even if it’s their job. Like you’ve got to have a job after this. You’ve got to look in the mirror after this … You have to look in the mirror and think about this country after this is over. You need to think of the end game here, because there isn’t one at the rate we are going,” Brzezinski said.

According to Brzezinski, Trump’s concern about Obama wiretaps is merely a deflection designed to stop people talking about his Russian connections.

“They are pushing a very dangerous agenda,” she said of the Trump administration, “an extremely dangerous one.”

It is not the first hyperbolic anti-Trump rant from Brzezinski, who two weeks ago suggested the president had stolen the ability to control Americans’ minds from the media.

“[Trump] could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think,” Brzezinski said on Feb. 22, “and that, that is our job.”
