At first I wasn’t keen on Donald Trump. He spoke unprofessionally, and he seemed like a loose cannon.

I have changed my mind.

If you want a better future for your children and grandchildren, I encourage you to consider a few things about Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for the presidency.

This man knows how to be a great parent and this reveals a lot about his character. After helping thousands of children grow up over the past 30 years, here’s one thing I know for certain: Adult children won’t say anything positive about their parents — especially publicly — unless they mean it.

Sons and daughters with an ax to grind against a parent refuse to say nice things about the parent, even if that parent is running for president. The fact that Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany took the stage to articulate praise after praise of their father tells us outsiders that he was a really good dad. To be a good father, a man needs serious relationship skills, true patience, and a strong commitment to a singular purpose.

That will count for a lot when he’s with a head of state, dealing with ISIS, or implementing a new economic policy.

We surely can’t say that about Bill Clinton.

Trump will make the world safer for our kids. At the Republican National Convention, we saw Donald Trump the man. We learned that privately he has more integrity than meets the eye. In order to be so successful at parenting, in business, and with people, he must have integrity. He means what he says, and when we hear him talk about taking down ISIS, he is far more believable than Hillary.

Our kids need us to wage serious war on ISIS. And soon.

Trump will uphold traditional moral values. We have seen what has happened to a culture when we dismantle a moral code. Secular progressives have bullied us into believing that anyone has the “right” to do anything he or she wants. We have watched a nation champion complete sexual freedom. We have been lured into believing that sexual freedom is an American right — and make no mistake here, this is horrible for our children. We have seen an epidemic of STDs erupt, family-crushing divorces due to loss of sexual boundaries, and depression, too, in kids related to sexual freedoms.

We need to take back a sense of right sexual behavior and wrong sexual behavior between couples in order to help our children avoid all the maladies associated with promiscuity.

Trump will allow religion back in this country. The U.S. was founded upon Judeo-Christian principles and we need to stop apologizing for that. Again, that’s the work of the left-wing bullies.

Study after study shows that having a Christian or Jewish faith is good for kids. It helps them get better grades, keeps them morally grounded, improves their relationships with their parents, and lowers their risk of getting involved in high risk behaviors. The list goes on and on.

Vote for Hillary Clinton and you can count on one thing: the continued obliteration of, and resounding shame toward, Judaism or Christianity.

I’m not fooled by her choice of VP. Tim Kaine may be a Christian, but what power does he really have?

Kids shouldn’t be involved in politics, but the reality is politics impacts children in a big way. As a staunch child advocate, my choice for president is Donald Trump because I know that he will make a safer, more grounded future for my kids and grandkids.

I hope you see it the same way.
