At 80 years old, Gary Player managed to score a hole-in-one at this year’s Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia. It was impressive — as was his lively celebration afterward.

Player credits working out “as hard at 80 as I did at 20” for his success, as he recently told Yahoo Sports.

He works out up to four times a week and includes hundreds of crunches and sit-ups, running, and handling leg weights of up to 400 pounds. “As you age, your body starts to fade away, in spite of exercise. I want to remain vibrant. I want to remain productive. I always say, ‘Retirement is a death warrant,'” he told Yahoo.
