Christians say Jesus is everywhere — but did He show up in a woman’s sonogram?

That’s exactly what Alicia Zeek and her fiancé, Zac Smith, think they saw in their unborn child’s prenatal picture. The couple said they aren’t particularly religious, but this has helped them grow closer to faith.

In the left-hand corner of the sonogram picture, they saw a man dressed in a robe with a crown of thorns and a beard (see the video just above).

“When they gave it to us … Umm, to me, it’s Jesus. And it looks like Jesus,” the mother, Alicia Zeek, told WPMT, the ABC affiliate in Pennsylvania.

Zeek had two difficult pregnancies previously and was understandably concerned about her third, but the child was born happy and healthy. The image gave them comfort from their worries.

“It almost brought tears to my eyes … I was speechless, I just couldn’t believe it. I really didn’t believe what I was seeing,” said Smith.

“Once she said ‘everything is good’ and we looked at the picture, I was like — ‘Look, babe, we have nothing to worry about,'” Smith said. “The angel or God or Jesus, however you want to propose it — I look at it as my blessing.”
